I’ve been working as a GP since 2015, and am a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners. I’m from Christchurch, completed my medical degree in 2012 through the University of Otago, and also hold a Postgraduate Diploma of Child Health. I love the broad and unpredictable variety of General Practice, both in terms of people and medicine. I’m especially interested in Child Health, but enjoy helping with all health issues and supporting wellness. I also like teaching, and host medical students at times.
Dr John Armstrong – General Practitioner
Dr Vanessa England – General Practitioner
For over 25 years I’ve loved working as a GP. I trained in London and served with the British Army for six years after qualifying. In 1997 my husband Mike and I , with our two young children, settled into the beautiful Welsh Border area of UK. I worked there as a GP and became a partner in a busy rural practice in the early 2000s . With our children grown up, an opportunity for a career move for Mike , also a doctor, led us to Christchurch in 2018.
I am committed to providing holistic, patient centred care. My special interests include Family Planning, Women’s Health, Dermatology and Minor Surgery. Out of work I enjoy hill walking, running, cycling , kayaking and Pilates
