We offer booked appointments between 8:30 and 5pm, and a morning triage and walk-in clinic for semi-urgent conditions between 8:30 and 10:30am.
Our team have a new patient booked every fifteen minutes; this includes time needed for writing your notes and referrals, dealing with urgent matters, and sanitation for infection control.
- A single appointment is usually enough to safely deal with one health issue. If you have a second issue you will be asked to book another appointment. Sometimes a single health issue may also take a number of appointments to work through fully.
- Our staff try to be on time however do sometimes run late, usually due to unexpected urgent issues which can require longer than a single appointment slot to safely manage. They may have cut into their breaks to reduce waiting times & really appreciate your patience.
- Please try to be on time for your appointment to help look after our staff and the patients booked after you. If you can’t make it on time please call and discuss with our reception team; there may be a booking available at another time, or we can help arrange a new booking for a different day
Missed appointments: We charge $30 for those who can’t attend their booked time (eg. running late, don’t attend, don’t answer phone consult). This includes for appointments that would have been lower cost – as we cannot claim funding to cover our costs for missed appointments. This fee helps offset some of the costs & missed funding, reduces waiting times, and helps to keep our other fees down.
