Missed appointment and late cancellation fees:
- From $30 (up to a maximum of the full service fee)
- Fee applies if you miss your appointment (eg. running late, don’t attend, don’t answer phone consult).
- Fee applies if you cancel your appointment within one hour before the scheduled time.
- These fees help offset our costs & missed funding, reduce waiting times, and help to keep our other fees down. This fee is higher for extended appointments and unsubsidised services
Unpaid account processing fees
All fees are due on the day of service. Payment must be received within 7 days. We do not hold accounts.
All unpaid accounts will be charged a $7.50 administration and processing fee at the start of every month. Those with regular automatic payments are currently having this fee waived.
Funding: Where possible we access funding streams to further reduce fees to our patients. To apply for a community services card, visit the Work And Income NZ website
There may be additional charges for:
- Missing your appointment or late cancellation
- Unpaid accounts

Payment on the day
All fees for consultations and services are due on the day. This helps us manage our resources effectively and keeps our fees down with streamlined processes. Payments using online banking should be received by us within 7 days.
Unfortunately, we are unable to hold outstanding/unpaid accounts. Any account that remains unpaid will incur an administration fee of $7.50 every month.
In some circumstances, persistently unpaid accounts may unfortunately lead to disenrolment from our practice. This is not a step we take lightly, and it’s something we want to avoid by ensuring clarity about our payment terms and finding ways to support patients in paying fees.
An Easier Way: Automatic Payments
We understand that payment on the day can sometimes be challenging. To make things easier for you, we offer an exception to our same-day payment policy for patients who set up automatic payments (fortnightly or monthly) for their account. If you choose this option, we can discuss a suitable arrangement that works for both you and the clinic.
If you’re interested in setting up automatic payments, please speak to our friendly reception staff, and they will be happy to guide you through the simple process.
We’re Here to Help
We know that everyone’s situation is unique, and we are always happy to answer any questions you may have about our fees and payment options. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our reception team if you have any concerns or would like to discuss your individual circumstances.
