Test results

If you’d like to view your test results or message our team about them, please sign up for our patient portal.

Our team personally review the results for every test we request.

Your clinician will only contact you regarding test results they feel are important or require further action. If you don’t hear from us you can be assured that the result has been seen and that either no action is required, or non-urgent discussion can occur at your next routine visit.

Many tests can take 1-2 weeks (sometimes longer) for us to receive and interpret the result; unless your result is urgent please give us time before requesting results.

PLEASE NOTE: You can have normal results in the presence of significant illness. It is important that you re-attend if your symptoms are persisting, or any new symptoms develop.

We do not routinely interpret / notify / provide results for tests arranged through any other services (such as hospitals, midwives, private sub-specialists). The responsibility for interpreting, managing, and communicating results to patients remains with the person who requested the test; for these results please contact the service who requested the test. This includes for tests where we are sent a copy of the result. If you wish to review these results through us then please book an appointment; standard consultation fees apply.
